It can be hard to come up with arthritis knee pain remedies.  Alot of people uses Ibuprofen!  Some people use natural supplements like glucosamine/chondroitin supplements. I didn’t believe in  natural remedies ’til I used them, but they DO work! Avoid squatting or anything that puts your knee joint at a greater than ninety-degree angle. When the pain is gone, try some knee exercises that build up your quadriceps (like leg-lifts. You can do them sitting in a chair or on a weight machine). What this does is strengthen the muscle so that the knee joint (which is really pretty weak) doesn’t have to do all the work. Activity is the key, along w/plenty of water and the supplements above to combat arthritis knee pain symptoms.

Ibuprofen works well. Careful it doesn’t upset your stomach. Take with food or milk.

I prefer holistic treatment myself. I use Certo fruit pectin, yes the stuff you make jams and jellies with, one tablespoon in six ounces of juice every morning (I prefer grapejuice). I have pretty severe arthritis in my knees and the Certo keeps me going.

The best thing for me is exercise. If I don’t exercise my knee everyday (had 4 surgeries 3 yrs ago) it kills me. Somehting as simple as toe stretches help a lot. Vioxx used to help me a lot but they discontinued it.
