I had surgery on my knee a few years back. Could what they did have caused arthritis?
February 14th, 2010 by Zandra Jones, RN BBA
They drilled into the growth plate to stop growth on my right knee so my left knee could catch up, and possibly even out. The surgeryydidn’tt work very well, and my legs never evened out. However, that is not my point. Could the drilling have caused arthritis or another condition that could be giving me mild to severe knee pain? If it’s a different condition, can you please tell me what it is? Thanks in advance!

No the surgery would not cause arthritis. Arthritis is hereditary. It is an incurable disease of the auto-immune system.
