i’am 62. had surgery for meniscal tear in august05. i basically have the same pain now after the surgery that i did before. drs.say it’s arthritis. i thought arthritis pain was intermittent and varied in intensity. i exercise, do not take pain meds unless absolutely necessary. the pain is always there and i tend to favor the knee when walking. what experience do you all have with arthritis?

First of all, don’t exercise through pain. It is better to give yourself a rest for a while. But if the pain becomes stronger, contact your doctor immediately! It can be too serious if you don’t!
