She is having terrible pains in the knee because of which she can’t walk. Now hands are also having the pain.Currently she is taking 2 seven seas tables, 1 diclofen tablet and 1 panadol tablets twice a day. But it seems to have no effect. Doctors are saying for having a knee cap replacement operation. I will be obliged to know if any other possible treatment still exists for such a scenario.

Hello. Im sorry to hear about your mom, thats sounds horrible. I have had Arthritis for 23 years and know what she may be feeling. Ask her doctor if she can try a mederal dose pack. Its a steroid that you take for only 6 days by mouth and it works wonders for me when Im at my very worst. Also there is a new IV medication out that I have heard has done great wonders for people with Arthritis and its called Remicade. I think its like a once a month thing but Im not to sure. I would not have a knee replacement of any kind unless she cant hardly stand it. I have had both hips and both knees replaced due to this diesease and the knee is a very painful experience. Though if you can get through the rehab you do feel much better in due time. If you need anymore help check ouy http://www.arthritis.org its got a lot of good resources. Hope this helps!
