Im sorry to hear about your mom, thats sounds horrible. I have had Arthritis for 23 years and know what she may be feeling. Ask her doctor if she can try a mederal dose pack. Its a steroid that you take for only 6 days by mouth and it works wonders for me when Im at my very worst. Also there is a new IV medication out that I have heard has done great wonders for people with Arthritis and its called Remicade. I think its like a once a month thing but Im not to sure. I would not have a knee replacement of any kind unless she cant hardly stand it. I have had both hips and both knees replaced due to this diesease and the knee is a very painful experience.
