My black lab, Reilly, suffers from arthritis in his right hip. With the colder weather, he seems to limp more and have more inflammation in the area. Is there anything that a vet can prescribe to relieve these symptoms? Any natural treatments?

You could try the human device actipatch. The company is in the process of developing it for the veterinary market as well…but currently its only for humans (it is the same device). Read more about it at http://www.actipatchpaintherapy.com or http://www.actipatchstore.com. It is completely natural and safe.

There R several arthritis meds that a Vet can prescribe. Deramaxx, Rimadyl, Previcox or Metacam.

Well I just tried the vet prescribed Dasquin and it has had no effect. I usually use the all natural products but I tried this product to satisfy my vet. I know some people who have had a great deal of success with the product Cetyl M, and that is what I just ordered on line. They have products for dogs, horses and humans and I will only use stuff for my dogs that I can use. You may want to look into the product. It uses natural ingredients for pain, inflamation, and joint building.
