OK, Im going to give a little history first, so here it goes.
Im a 32 yr old mom. I already have a diagnosis of Ostioarthritis, and degen. disk disease. I had surgery on my left shoulder because of sudden onset of severe pain and immobility, doc. removed a lot of inflammation and a bone spur along with some of the arthritis he found in there. Didnt help. in the mean time the same sudden pain happened in my right shoulder, still living with that. Among a couple of other problems. Now, today I was standing doing the dishes and my hip began to throb inside the joint, severe pain but it feels just a little different then my shoulders and back especailly considering i have pin and needle feeling running up and down my leg. I cant get comfortable, I can sit, stand or even lay down to get any relief. I have already taken pain medication and it isnt helping…anyone with any ideas PLEASE.

sounds like u may need a total hip replacement! Go to an ortho doc and get him to order an MRI to get to the root of the problem. X-rays are not any good. I too have osteoarthritis and it affects my whole body, i also have scoliosis, DDD, have had to hav 2 back surgeries, knee surgery and a total hip replacement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Have you ruled out Scaitia. Have any pain behind the knee.? If so most likely this is the problem.
my grandpa had the same symptoms when he fell over middle last year and he had to get a hip replacement
