Does anybody know about arthritis in hip? Does it give you pain in lower part of stomach. Doctors say “yes”

I am just trying to find out if the pain I have is coming from my hip or stomach adhesions that I know I have also. Very painful. Dont want to have surgery for adhesions when pain is coming from arthritis/bursitis in hip. Does anyone know if cortisone shots will help with hip arthritis and for how long will it last.
