I’m 15 and for the last week I’ve had terrible pains in my right hip. It hurts more when I’ve sat down for a long time. Standing on one leg (right leg) hurts the hip so much. Walking upstairs is unbearable.
I checked for sciatic nerve but I don’t have shooting pains in my leg! It’s just the hip and sometimes in my butt when i sit down but hardly ever.
The pain is going down now, but could it come back and could it be hip arthritis?
The doctor told me that my symptoms are a mystery and that i should just take pain killers…how useless!!!

the chances of hip arthritis is unlikely. im getting the same thing so i know what you are going through, but mine is due to 2 prolapsed disc in my spine which an MRI scan would confirm, but i also have sciatic pain with mine. when i was looking on the net for info something with the exact same symptoms was sacriolic inflamation this is a very nasty pain and i feel for you. if you want to google sacriolic it will tell you the sympoms. and get you doctor told he should be doing his job, and demand a scan as you are entilted to this.
