What can i do to help to ease arthritis pain of my large breed dog?

the pain is mostly in her hips, and a little in the front limbs. she is a long hair German Shepard… thank you,
And i would take her to the vet, but i can not afford the vet fees

    However, I would not like to hazard a guess as to what it wrong with your dog. Your local vet is best placed to examine and refer/provide diagnosis and treatment options. Hope she is okay.

    Well the vet can do an xray on your dog to see what is going on. An xray may show that your dog has issues you are not aware of. Your dog could be dealing with arthritis, and also back or hip issues that you may not know about. While glucosamine is fine for the first stages of arthritis, it does not usually work for the advanced stages. So the xray will show you how many issues or combination of issues and stages the dog is in, so the vet can prescribe the best options for the dog.

    I would get her x-rayed at a Vet to make sure that this is the actual problem. There are several medications that your Vet could prescribe. Along with this, you can order a Glucosamine Supplement with MSM from just about any pet catalog. I would follow the advise of your Vet when you take her in.
